  WHAT HAPPENED?

  Bashir was on fire on Day Four of England's second test match against West Indies at Trent Bridge as he put up figures of five for 41 in the second inning. He picked up the wicket of Athanaze with a ripper that took the edge of the West Indian's bat and found its way to Joe Root's hand. Bashir immediately hit Palmer's cold celebration along with Chris Woakes.

  Palmer's celebration has become a global sensation with a number of athletes having used the Chelsea forward's trademark. Earlier this month, Chelsea-bound Palmeiras wonderkid Estevao 'Messinho' Willian also hit the 'cold' trademark following his goal against Juventude in Brazil's Serie A.

• WHAT NEXT FOR BASHIR AND PALMER?

  The 21-year-old spinner will return to action when England Cricket take on West Indies for the final test match at Edgbaston as they push to try and qualify for the World Test Championship final over Australia and India. As for Palmer, the 22-year-old will soon join up with Chelsea for their pre-season tour.
